Brand New Model Epson DX5 Solvent Printhead
This solvent resistant Epson printhead is suitable for certain solvent based Chinese DX5 printers manufactured after 2014. This printhead has 8 channels and 180 nozzles per channel. It has a 3,5 picoliter drop size with Variable-Sized Droplet technology.
This printhead is the new DX5 head model released by Epson after 2014. It is encrypted and it is compatible with new printhead control boards installed on printers after the end of 2013. In order to determine whether you need a new or old DX5 head model, you should check the 3 letters printed under the head ID of your old printhead: if it start with Fxx or bellow, you must use old heads only (PPHEP13801O), if it starts with Gxx or above, you should run new heads only (PPHEP13801).
